Monaro High School’s Indigenous students were extremely fortunate to spend the day with local Ngarigo artist and artist behind the 2018 Sydney Swans Indigenous Guernsey NSW.
Cheryl showed us how she works with multiple textiles, like paper, canvas and stone. Students spent the day listening to Cheryl’s stories and crafting a banner with Cheryl for this year’s NAIDOC theme: Voice.Treaty.Truth. They are super proud of the end product.
