The Bundian Way

On 31 May, Monaro High School, Berridale Public School, Adaminby Public School and Bombala High School all travelled to the small township of Delegate to meet local author and researcher John Blay, the Author of On Track.

John shared the story of The Bundian Way, an ancient walking track (songline) that stretches from Eden through Delegate and ends up at Mt Kosiousko.

The presentation was conducted at the Bundian Way Gallery/Museum and the students followed John to the site of the Delegate Reserve and then out to the Craigee yam fields.

The excursion celebrated Reconciliation Week and also tied into an art exhibition that local Monaro students were involved in for NAIDOC, with this year’s theme ‘SongLines’.
